It’s the most wonderful time of the year. All the final touches have been added to my home decor.
Now, I only need to shop for a few more gifts and we are ready for Christmas. We try to enjoy family time as much as possible. Being together and in health during Christmas, is truly God’s gift to us, so we treasure it inmensely.
My oldest daughter bought our tree this year and it is artificial. We decided to stop spending money on a real tree each year and get an artificial flocked. We chose the Martha Stewart flocked seven and a half foot tree. We are pretty happy with it since it was fairly easy to set up.
Our fireplace stockings are from Hobby Lobby and I had them engraved with all my family’s names.
I purchased fresh cedar garland from Home Depot.
Wrapping paper is from Container Store and Target. Ribbon is from several stores: Container Store, Target, Dollar Tree and Dollar General.
Our chalkboard sign is from House of Belonging.
Our Christmas village was made by my daughter with my help. See my post on how to make your own here>: DIY Christmas Village
Bar Cart is from Target. I created a Christmas Bar Cart to serve hot cocoa and coffee this season. See my post here>: Christmas Bar Cart
Our “Merry Christmas” sign is from Magnolia Market.
Small decor items throughout the house fill our home.
Every year, I create my own Christmas cards and distribute to family. I have been doing this every year for the past twenty years. I truly wish this tradition wouldn’t go away. Here is our annual Christmas card shown above.
Thank you for stopping by. May all the blessings of the season shine upon you.
