After Christmas was over, a space in my living room looked emptier than ever. I had looked around for an accent chair and just didn’t have any luck. I spotted a couple I liked at Target but they were more than I wanted to pay for. I decided I would wait.
Yesterday, as I was trying to spend a Target gift card I had received for Chirstmas; there she was, a beautiful accent chair that was 50% off! This chair was calling my name!
It is a Threshold gray lattice accent chair. Isn’t she gorgeous! Regular price was $149.99. I got it for $74.99. I quickly took her home and couldn’t wait to dress the space up!
I paired it up with my thrift find, a hexagon accent table that I scored for $7.99. I was thrilled! I added a shoft throw from Ross. I had this orchid in my restroom so I immediately took it and gave it a new home. Paired that up with my orchid beaded pillow. Tadaaaa!
Now, my living room is complete. All this for under $90.00! My husband noticed it right away and when he heard the price and how I had a gift card, he couldn’t believe it. Yey me!
Patience is a virtue and I am so glad I waited and not bought the first thing I liked several weeks ago. It is amazing how one piece makes a big difference. Goes to show you that you can dress any space up with things you already have in your house. In this case, I only purchased the main piece, the accent chair and created my very own living room reading corner.
