Every year around this time, I love to decorate with a “love” theme. There is so much home decor out there for Valentine’s Day and I take advantage of buying anything celebrating love.
I always want my home to feel lovable and cozy. I want to make it a safe haven for my family to come home to. What better way to make my home feel this way by emphasizing it with “love”.
Love is one of my favorite words. Anything with this word and hearts, definitely have my heart. I want to share how I decorated my home this year to celebrate love.
If you have been following me for a while, you will know I love little white houses. I have been decorating with them since they first came out at Target a couple of years ago. I instantly fell in love with them because 1. The price…$3 each. 2. They remind me of our first little house my Husband and I bought 24 years ago after we got married. So anything with a little white house, has my heart!
As always, I love the neutral color palette and added soft touches of pink.
When I can get beautiful fresh flowers, I do not pass up the opportunity!
For my dining room table, I wanted a minimalist look and only placed a pitcher with silk eucalyptus. I placed it on these trays I purchased from Hearth and Hand Magnolia with the salt and pepper dishes. I love the clean and simple look. If I put anything busy and fills up the table, all my teenagers move it. Not surprised. Ha. I love to gather with my whole family on this table so I don’t mind.
I love this “Love You More” throw and decided it to spread over my bed. I love how it looks!
Have a lovely day!
