In addition, I am still a work in progress in trying to incorporate more essential oils and natural remedies (as you can see in my other posts). This is a constant struggle so I am not there 100%. Therefore, I paced my wooden & much loved DoTerra Essential Oils Collection on the bottom shelf. Here is a closer look inside my collection.
Spring is in the air and while I am checking off my Spring Cleaning list as we speak, I am stopping in little areas of my home that need some tender loving care.
With that being said, my medicine cabinet was crying out for attention. In addition, Mr. Garcia was complaining about how I put everything in baskets. It was then when I realized that I did want to put everything in baskets and how right he really was. I went shopping for some see through bins so it would make him happier. Target has some nice ones but are a bit pricier than I wanted to pay for. The Container also had some, again for more money. I finally found these cute ones in Ross for a wonderful price. Amazon has some real nice ones for less money than other places: see here.
I blogged about a first aid kit I made here: <DIY First Aid Kit> This kit sits on top of my shelf.
Here is the before picture. Hubby took out the medicines and vitamins out of my tin buckets and put them all on the shelf. I now remember how visual men are <chuckle> and how he wanted to see them and not dig for them in my baskets. Well of course this makes it look messier and all the medicines everywhere. In addition to some other stuff that does not belong.
I only bought two as these were the last ones I found. That is a good thing due to the fact that I can toss out old medicine bottles and try to keep a small stash.
I added this box to my cabinet. Here is a closer look at the shelves that I lined with a shelf liner. I purchased the cream and black flowered shelf paper at General Dollar. With this same paper, I cut some rectangle sizes and labeled the two containers. The shelf liner has a backside that sticks so it looked cute behind my label.
