Summer is fast approaching and that means school is out and the fun is about to begin. If you are a mother like me, you are aware that it is time to organize for summertime! Here are some pictures from visiting the Dallas Arboretum last week.
Having children at home all day during the summer, has its advantages and disadvantages. If you let them, they can quickly become attached to their electronics all day. I have decided to create a summer schedule for our family this year to keep our family interacted with each other and organized!
My children each have a daily chore they are responsible for. My husband and I have expressed to them the importance of doing the following daily:
- brush teeth/hair
- make bed/pick up room
- daily chore
- clean up after yourself
- reading time
- family time
These will be our daily “to-dos” and add some fun activities as much as we can. In addition, we are about to create our yearly “Summer Bucket List” on our chalkboard! Post coming soon, please stay tuned.
Here I have a free summer schedule printable. Please feel free to download and print for your family.
