Making healthy choices in our daily regimen is not easy. In a world where here in the United States, anything can become a “biggie” size, our health can deteriorate if we are not careful. I am not a health care professional nor a physician. I do however, love to learn about anything natural, cleaner and healthier for our bodies and homes.
Last year in January, I did a no sugar cleanse. It was a challenge for myself and those who wanted to join me. My decision to be without sugar for 2 weeks was intended for me to stop drinking diet cokes. My son had told me I needed to stop as I would drink 2-3 a day! I listened to him and made myself quit. One year later, I have not had one single soft drink at all! I really feel those drinks get you addicted. I do not crave them any more!
On my Instagram, I did a toll three weeks ago and asked my followers if they had a healthy regimen and if they didn’t, would they want to start one? 83% said they did not have a healthy regimen and wanted to start one. On Saturday, I asked them if they would want to join me to start a Healthy Lifestyle Challenge for the month of February and 93% responded yes.
Starting today, February 1st, I start a healthy lifestyle challenge. This is not a challenge to tell you what to do or not to do. I simply want to challenge myself to make healthy choices in my daily regimen while documenting my journey. No diets, just choosing a healthier lifestyle!
There will be no judging and lots of encouraging. We can share tips, tricks and recipes. Please consult your doctor before starting any health/fitness program.

Love yourself and this is the first step to getting ahead. If we love ourselves, we will want to take care of ourselves and our bodies. We are only give one, lets take great care of it!
